Publication Schedule

Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, and Future Research (BAFR) publishes two regular issues each year, designated as the May issue and the November issue.

BAFR operates a continuous publication model within this biannual issue structure. An issue may therefore be opened before its designated issue month, allowing articles to be published without waiting for all manuscripts assigned to the issue to be completed.

How Continuous Publication Works

1
Issue Opening
A regular issue is opened for the relevant publication period.
2
Editorial Completion
Manuscripts complete peer review, editorial evaluation, revision, copyediting, typesetting, and final production.
3
Individual Publication
Each completed article is published immediately in the active issue with its final bibliographic information and DOI.
4
Issue Completion
Additional articles may be added continuously until the relevant issue is formally completed.
Bibliographic Record

Article Publication Dates

Each article retains its own official online publication date. The date displayed for an issue in the OJS archive may correspond to the date on which that issue was first opened for continuous publication and should not be interpreted as the publication date of every article contained within the issue.

Publication Principle

Publish When the Article Is Ready

Continuous publication allows BAFR to make completed scholarly articles available promptly while maintaining its regular biannual issue structure and established editorial and peer-review requirements.
