One type of household waste that can have a significant negative impact on the environment is used cooking oil or used cooking oil. Disposing of used cooking oil into the environment can cause pollution if done continuously. Therefore, innovation is needed to utilize used cooking oil so that it is not thrown away and polluting the environment. The goal of this program to utilize used cooking oil into aromatherapy candles is to increase public awareness about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness and understanding the potential diseases that can arise from the repeated use of used cooking oil. This community service activity uses a qualitative method approach, with implementation methods including socialization and training. The results of daily used cooking oil waste generated from household activities can become very innovative products, especially when used cooking oil waste is processed into useful items in daily life, even potentially becoming a source of additional income for the community, as well as reducing pollution from carelessly discarded used cooking oil. This program contributes to community welfare by processing used cooking oil waste. Future initiatives of this program could also include developing comprehensive training modules, which include the selection of high-quality raw materials, accurate manufacturing methods, and suggestions for attractive packaging for participants to review.
