AIMS

SAKALIMA: Pilar Pengabdian Masyarakat Pendidikan is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing community service through the application of research findings to real-world societal needs. The journal aims to promote impactful, interdisciplinary research that contributes to sustainable community development and empowerment, particularly within the Indonesian context and broader Southeast Asian region.

FOCUS

The journal focuses on the practical application of research in community service, emphasizing the translation of academic knowledge into tangible benefits for society. It seeks to bridge the gap between academic research and community needs, fostering collaborations that lead to meaningful societal impact.

SCOPE

SAKALIMA publishes original research articles, case studies, program evaluations, and theoretical analyses that address community development and empowerment. The journal welcomes submissions that explore:

  1. Education: Innovations in teaching and learning, curriculum development, educational equity, and the integration of technology in education.
  2. Health: Community health initiatives, public health policies, mental health awareness, and healthcare accessibility.
  3. Economy: Economic development strategies, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and poverty alleviation programs.
  4. Science and Technology: Application of scientific research and technological innovations to solve community problems.
  5. Socio-Politics: Governance, community participation, social justice, and policy analysis impacting community development.

The journal encourages interdisciplinary approaches and welcomes contributions that demonstrate practical applications of research to address community challenges. SAKALIMA is published two times a year in June and December by WISE Pendidikan Indonesia in collaboration with Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung.
