Language, Technology, and Social Media (LTSM) is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and conceptual papers examining the intersections of language, linguistics, communication, digital technology, and social media.

The journal welcomes research on digital discourse and communication, technology-enhanced language learning and teaching, language use in digital and social-media environments, multilingualism in digital spaces, human–computer interaction, speech and language technologies, linguistic accessibility, and applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning to language and communication. Submissions from related disciplines are considered when language, linguistics, communication, digital technology, or social media constitutes a central analytical dimension of the study.

Established in 2023 and published exclusively online by WISE Pendidikan Indonesia, LTSM publishes four regular issues annually and currently applies an article-based continuous-publication model within its active quarterly issues. Following the transition initiated in Volume 4, Number 3 (2026), newly published articles are assigned directly to regular issues as final Versions of Record with complete bibliographic information. The journal no longer operates separate Articles in Press, Online First, Early View, or Forthcoming sections. Information concerning articles published under the journal’s previous Articles in Press model is provided on the Journal History page.

All published articles are freely and permanently accessible without subscription barriers. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, educators, language professionals, communication scholars, and technology specialists to disseminate theoretically grounded, methodologically rigorous, original, and ethically responsible research.

LTSM is professionally managed by WISE Pendidikan Indonesia and overseen by an international editorial board with expertise in language, linguistics, communication, educational technology, digital media, human–computer interaction, speech and language technologies, and artificial intelligence. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly quality, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and alignment with the journal’s aims and scope.
