About the Journal

SAKAGURU: Journal of Pedagogy and Creative Teacher is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of education through creative and innovative pedagogy. The journal serves as an international platform for educators, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate high-quality research that bridges theory and practice, promotes evidence-based teaching, and supports inclusive and equitable education in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).

SAKAGURU focuses on the practical application of pedagogical innovation across diverse educational contexts, emphasizing research that translates academic knowledge into tangible improvements in teaching and learning. The journal welcomes original research articles, case studies, program evaluations, and theoretical analyses covering a wide range of educational fields, including curriculum and instructional design, innovative and interactive teaching methodologies, educational technology integration, teacher professional development, inclusive education, character and social-emotional learning, classroom-based action research, assessment and learning quality improvement, and educational leadership and management.

Empirical and applied studies published in SAKAGURU encompass all levels of education, from early childhood to higher education, and address diverse learning environments and instructional settings. The primary criteria in the review and selection process are the originality, methodological rigor, practical relevance, and contribution to the advancement of pedagogy and creative teaching practices. Published biannually in May and November, SAKAGURU is managed by WISE Pendidikan Indonesia in collaboration with Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung and is committed to maintaining international academic standards and geographical diversity among authors, editors, and reviewers.
