Wise Education publishes journal articles under an open-access business model, funded through payments made by authors, their institutions, or funding bodies, commonly known as Article Processing Charges (APCs).

As an open-access publisher, typically involving the upfront payment of APCs, we will also make their articles immediately and freely available upon publication in Wise Education Journal, with the license attached to them. APC prices at Wise Education are set on a per journal basis, with prices clearly displayed on journal homepages.

Adjustments to Wise Education’s APC prices are reviewed regularly and are subject to change. We set APC prices based on the following criteria:

• Journal quality;
• The journal’s editorial and technical processes;
• Competitive considerations;
• Market conditions;
