Aims and Scope

Gender, Islamic Law, and Sustainability (GILS) is a multidisciplinary, open-access journal that welcomes contributions addressing the intersection of gender issues, Islamic law, and sustainability in contemporary societies. The journal aims to provide a platform for critical discussions, analyses, and studies that explore how these domains intersect, influence each other, and address pressing global challenges. The journal covers the following areas:
