Aims

SAKAGURU: Journal of Pedagogy and Creative Teacher is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to advancing the theory and practice of education through creative and innovative pedagogy. The journal aims to serve as a global platform for educators, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate high-quality research that bridges theory and practice, fosters evidence-based teaching, and promotes sustainable educational development. By publishing original studies, case analyses, and applied research, SAKAGURU seeks to contribute to the enhancement of learning outcomes, teacher professionalism, and the empowerment of learners, ultimately supporting inclusive and equitable education in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education.

Focus

The journal focuses on the practical application of innovative and creative pedagogical approaches across diverse educational contexts. SAKAGURU emphasizes research that translates academic knowledge into tangible improvements in teaching and learning, fostering collaborations that generate meaningful societal impact. The scope of the journal explicitly aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and contributes indirectly to other SDGs by promoting inclusive, equitable, and innovative educational practices. SAKAGURU welcomes original research articles, case studies, program evaluations, and theoretical analyses addressing pedagogical innovation and educational creativity. The journal covers, but is not limited to, the following areas:

SAKAGURU encourages interdisciplinary approaches and welcomes contributions demonstrating practical application of research to enhance teaching, learning, and educational development. The journal is published two times a year—May and November—by WISE Pendidikan Indonesia in collaboration with Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung.
